Why are you running for a board position?
“Seeing the response from competitors and the popularity of the Florida Multigun event gave me the desire to become more involved. Witnessing firsthand the future growth potential that the club offers, I noticed there are many opportunities for income on the table that aren’t being taken advantage of. I look forward to assisting in the growth of the club and its future viability in all aspects. Another reason is after getting to know the other members of the election slate, I have realized that there is a shared common interest amongst us to safeguard the club and all of its activities from liabilities across the board.”
Where do you see the club in 10 years?
I see our facility living up to its true unrivaled potential with all sorts of shooting categories from USPSA, Multigun, Long range/PRS, Benchrest, PCC, Action Shooting, Archery and more. As the larger clubs close statewide, our facility becomes more attractive place for our community to hold events, and enjoy a safe environment to enjoy themselves and more. I also look forward to ensuring that all the processes for range rentals, events and other aspects of the club become streamlined and outdated methods abandoned in favor of open communication with members to ensure honest and open dialogue with our constituents. I hope to have the club at 1,000+ members!
What is your favorite feature of MGAC?
I love the back bays, they are absolutely heavenly, and hope to add more in the future. Florida Multigun just hosted the first annual State Championship and we had nothing but great feedback about the MGAC facilities from our 107+ participants. Another favorite feature is the people. I have met some the best people out at MGAC and we have a cultivated an irreplaceable community that continues to grow as more people find out about the great activities, events and training opportunities offered by MGAC. The future looks bright!
